August 2017 - Another 70 participants for National Fishing Month


 Wednesday saw us back on the banks of Carpdell fishery for our National Fishing Month program as part of the Cassiobury Farm and Fishery open days. August 2017 - Zain goes from Strength to Strength


 Great to welcome Zain back this week for another session on waggler fishing. Real character is this lad, every fish is given a name and this week they were also "interviewed"😂 Loads of fish caught but he set a real challenge with only 10 minutes left he said he always wanted to catch a pike. August 2017 - Coaches success after NFM event


 Another bonus overnight session for some of the coaching team as we got in a quick overnighter at Carpdell fishery after the Cassiobury Farm and Fishery open day on Thursday. August 2017 - Half ay through Cassiobury Farm Open Days


 Thursday, 10th August saw us reaching the half way mark of Open Days at Cassiobury Farm and Fishery. This was the first time this year that the weather held out and this certainly pushed up the numbers. August 2017 - Coaches producing the goods at Carpdell


 Some of the coaching team stayed on for an overnight session at Carpdell fishery after our National Fishing Month event on Saturday. Tony Forman was first off the mark with a common just under 20lb, this was followed by Carpdells Bailiff Chris Reilly with a fish of around 18lb and finally Andy whose 17lb Common was his first Carp from the venue. August 2017 - 2nd Open Day at Cassiobury Farm


 Saturday 5th August saw the second of our National Fishing Month events as part of the Cassiobury Farm and Fishery open days. Weather was not the greatest but our team of coaches delivered over 25 hours of tuition with the 30 minute taster sessions which were on offer. Carpdell fishery continues to produce the goods with plenty of fish to be had, including a couple of Chub which are rare visitors to the bank.

August 2017 - Zain starts CAST Level 2


 It was great to catch up with 11 year old Zain again. He was given a WAC Coaching Voucher for his birthday and is using them to take his CAST Level 2 programme. Was a challenging day today with a strong blustery winds which certainly causes issues when your learning to float fish. Didn't stop Zain though as he went on to capture fantastic specimens of Roach, Hybrids, Bream and Tench using waggler and pellet feeder...

July 2017 - Annual NFM Event at Boxmoor & District


 The second of our 2017 National Fishing Month events took place on Sunday, 30th July as part of the Boxmoor and District Angling Society Limited open day. With the help of the clubs members and committee, angling taster sessions were run for over 50 people of all ages. The venue fished well with plenty of Roach, Perch and Skimmers together with guest appearances of quality Rudd and a stunning 6lb Tench....
