September 2017 - Big Carp Magazine write up

Thanks to Chris Reilly for the write up in this months Big Carp Magazine A month of mixed emotions for us down Carpdell fishery in August. Sad news to lose the iconic Split Tail. Remember hearing about this fish when we first step foot onto "Rousebarn" as it was known back then in the early 90's. Over a decade passed before we returned to chase this king of the pond. She put many a smile on the faces...

August 2017 - On the bank with Rhys & Jack

Many thanks to Darren for sending in some photos of his sons Rhys and Jack who joined Paul last week for a 2 hour coaching session. August 2017 - Zain goes from Strength to Strength

Great to welcome Zain back this week for another session on waggler fishing. Real character is this lad, every fish is given a name and this week they were also "interviewed"😂 Loads of fish caught but he set a real challenge with only 10 minutes left he said he always wanted to catch a pike. So out came the spinning rod, his second run through and whack, a jack pike was on! Well done Zain, it's been a pleasure...

August 2017 - Coaches success after NFM event

Another bonus overnight session for some of the coaching team as we got in a quick overnighter at Carpdell fishery after the Cassiobury Farm and Fishery open day on Thursday. Was a very quiet night, but things picked up at first light. First fish fell to Paul Forman with a VS fish of 24lb 04oz. Absolutely mint condition and certainly gave Paul the run around before it was finally banked. Many thanks to...
